Toolkits · TK series
Printable toolkits
Sixteen planners, reference sheets, checklists, worksheets and templates. Each is designed to be printed at A4 or Letter with a wide binding margin, and to be legible when photocopied in black and white. No account, subscription or personal information is required to use them.
Five formats
Planners lay out a period of time — a week, a month, a year — and give each commitment a place. Reference sheets hold information you look up rather than fill in: retention periods, letter structures, storage times.
Checklists are ordered by urgency rather than alphabetically, so that the first items are the ones that matter first. Worksheets ask questions and leave space to answer them. Templates are documents you complete once and update as circumstances change.
Weekly Planning Grid
A seven-day grid with separate bands for fixed commitments, flexible work and recovery time. Printed at A4 or Letter with a wide left margin for binder use.
Annual Household Calendar
Twelve-month overview for renewals, maintenance, seasonal changeovers and appointments, with a summary column for costs that recur each year.
Monthly Budget Sheet
Income, fixed costs, variable costs and a review box. Designed for variable income, with a three-month averaging column instead of a single monthly figure.
Document Retention Reference Sheet
General retention periods for common household records, with a column for confirming requirements with the issuing body and space for local notes.
Formal Letter Structures
Four annotated skeletons: request, complaint, appeal and confirmation of a verbal agreement, each with notes on evidence and record-keeping.
Food Storage Times and Temperatures
A single-page summary of refrigeration, freezing and cooling principles, with a prominent note directing readers to current official Canadian food safety guidance.
72-Hour Household Preparation Checklist
Water, food, warmth, light, medication, documents and communication, arranged by the order in which each becomes urgent rather than alphabetically.
Seasonal Changeover Checklist
Four seasonal panels covering storage rotation, maintenance checks and equipment servicing, with separate columns for owned and rented homes.
Device Handover Checklist
Steps for passing on, recycling or returning a device: accounts, backups, storage clearing and physical disposal, with verification boxes for each stage.
Difficult Conversation Preparation Sheet
Prompts for clarifying the outcome you want, the facts you can evidence, the concession you can make and the wording of your opening two sentences.
Important Documents Inventory
A register of what exists, where it is held, when it expires and who else needs to know. Includes a sealed-envelope page for storage locations.
Study Log and Review Schedule
A log for what was studied, how it was tested and when it is next due for review, using a spacing schedule that can be run entirely on paper.
Care Handover Summary
A one-page-per-person summary of routine, contacts, medication schedule and open questions, formatted so it can be updated without rewriting the whole sheet.
Community Project Planning Sheet
Purpose, participants, permissions, budget, timeline and evaluation, with prompts drawn from the questions municipal staff most often ask small groups.
Pantry Inventory Sheet
Standing inventory columns for quantity, purchase interval and typical use rate, plus a waste-tracking week for measurement before any changes are made.
Personal Index Card Format
A printable card layout for a personal subject index: source, claim, page reference, cross-reference and review date, sized four to a page.
Printing notes
- Sheets are laid out for A4 and Letter. Select “fit to printable area” if your printer reports a margin conflict; the design allows for a 12 mm loss on any edge.
- All type is set in black on white with no background tints, so that a photocopy or fax remains legible and so that colour ink is not required.
- Multi-page toolkits are numbered and carry the shelf mark on every sheet, which matters when pages are separated in a binder.
- Fields are sized for handwriting, not for typing. Where a sheet is meant to be completed on screen it says so in the description.
Reuse in classes and programmes
Toolkits may be printed and distributed for non-commercial educational use, including in schools, libraries, community organisations and workplaces, provided the shelf mark and the library's name remain on the sheet. Adaptations for a specific community are welcome; if you would like an adapted version listed in the catalogue, send it to the reference desk with a note on what you changed and why.
Accessible versions. Large-print and plain-text versions of any toolkit can be prepared on request. Write to info@moolmes.club with the shelf mark and the format you need; preparation usually takes three to five business days.
